Elderhood is an initiative brought to you by Sri Om Incorporated New Zealand, a charity that has been empowering and serving humanity since its establishment in 2006. At Sri Om, we firmly believe that when humanity takes the lead, divinity follows closely behind. Through Elderhood, we aim to bring attention to the wisdom and experiences of our elders, often overlooked in today's fast-paced society. As a society, it is our responsibility to honor and cherish our elders, and we strive to do so through various community programs and events. Our goal is to create a world where the voices and contributions of our elders are not only heard but valued and celebrated. Join us in our mission to make the world a better place for all ages, with Elderhood and Sri Om leading the way.

Registering for the Glenfield Day Centre was the best decision. Elderhood's exceptional approach to providing care for the elderly is evident as I was immediately struck by Elderhood's friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I was impressed by how the staff embraced my ethnic background and made an effort to understand my specific linguistic needs. This made me feel respected and valued, as I was able to communicate in my native language and feel a sense of belonging at Elderhood's day centre.

This is a testament to the level of care and attention that Elderhood provides to their clients. Not only do they prioritise the physical well-being of the elderly, but they also understand the importance of catering to their emotional and cultural needs. This is what truly sets Elderhood apart from other day centres.
